Shocking murder of Dalit woman in Jharkhand village sparks outrage and demands for justice

The brutal murder of a 45-year-old Dalit woman, Munia Devi, of Kud village, located in Ward No. 24, has shocked everyone. Muniya Devi's husband Raju Ram is mentally weak.

The woman's body was found in a suspicious condition on Saturday morning, sending shockwaves through the area. Relatives of the deceased women allegedly murdered after rape. The deceased is survived by two married sons and one unmarried daughter. Her husband's mental state is not good.

According to relatives, the family members went to sleep last night after eating and when they woke up in the morning, the woman's body was found in a suspicious condition in an open shed in front of the house. At the request of family members, a three-member team of doctors conducted an autopsy with a video recording in the presence of a judge. Dr. Ajay Bhengra, Dr. Amarendra Sinha, and Dr. Chanchala Gupta were on the team. Katkamdag BDO Shalini Khalkho was also present with the team of doctors.

After the post-mortem, the body was sent to the Ghat in an ambulance with the help of MLA Manish Jaiswal. At the request of the victim's family members, on behalf of Jaiswal, his representatives Dinesh Singh Rathore and Ranjan Choudhary provided immediate financial assistance and assured cooperation in the future.

Expressing deep grief over the incident, Jaiswal termed this type of incident as a stigma for society. Deputy MLA Dinesh Singh Rathore, who came to the hospital to interact with the victim's family, reviewed the current Jharkhand government and the district administration.

He said that the government and the police administration have completely failed. He said that theft, looting, murders, and rapes are increasing day by day in Hazaribagh. He urged the administration to catch the killers of this case as soon as possible.

Police officials said the woman was murdered, but they will wait for the post-mortem report to know whether she was raped or not.
